1. About these terms
Payfazt is a trademark of 231 Business Solutions L.L.C. (“we”, “us”). By using the Payfazt app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Who can use Payfazt
You must be 18 or over, and have a UK bank account and a mobile phone number.
3. Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up. Keep your PIN and phone secure, and tell us straight away if you think someone else has used your account.
4. What Payfazt does
Payfazt lets you send money to and request money from other Payfazt users, including groups and people nearby. Payfazt is a technology platform. It is not a bank, and it never holds your money.
5. Payments
Bank connections and payments are provided by Salt Edge, our regulated open banking provider. When you pay, you approve the payment securely with your own bank. Once your bank has approved it, Payfazt can't reverse it, so please check the person and the amount before you approve.
6. Fees
Payfazt doesn't currently charge fees. If that changes, we'll tell you before any fee applies. Your bank may charge its own fees.
7. Things you must not do
You agree not to:
- Use Payfazt for anything illegal, including fraud, money laundering or financing terrorism.
- Pay for illegal goods or services.
- Access other people's accounts.
- Interfere with the app.
- Create multiple accounts or pretend to be someone else.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
9. Our content
The Payfazt name, logo and app content belong to us or our licensors. Please don't copy them without permission.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Payfazt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by following the steps at payfazt.com/delete-account.html. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, involve fraud, or put other users at risk.
12. Changes to these terms
If we make important changes, we'll let you know in the app or by email. If you keep using Payfazt after that, you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
